Changes to Google AdWords
Google AdWords rebranded as Google Ads
At the end of July Google AdWords rebranded as Google Ads. As Wikipedia describes the new platform, 'In addition to the full range of advertising capabilities on Google.com and across other Google's properties, partner sites and apps, the new Google Ads will offer Smart Campaigns for small businesses who don’t have the time or resources to manage complex digital advertising campaigns'
One of the key changes to the adverts you see on Google is the ability to add a 3rd headline and a 2nd line of descriptive text. Whilst many agencies wait for their clients to contact them, at Digital Marketing Advice Ltd (Digital Marketing Wales) we have spent the last month proactively looking at all our clients adverts and amending accordingly.
Google AdWords (now Google Ads) -we believe we are one of the main suppliers of Google AdWords Wales, Google AdWords Cardiff and Google AdWords Near Me.
Google Ads 3rd headline is up to 30 characters, and the 2nd line of description is 90 characters. Instead of just adding generic terms, the team have looked at each individual advert and added relevant content to each advert.
